OPD
Consultation
Pap Smear,HPV, DNA, LBC
- Colposcopy
If the results of a cervical cancer screening test, such as a Pap smear or HPV
test are abnormal, a more thorough examination of the cervix and vaginal tissues is needed.
- Endometrial biopsy
A procedure that collects a tissue sample from the endometrium lining
of the uterus. The sample is tested and checked under a microscope for abnormal cells or
indicators of cancer.
- IUD insertion
An intrauterine device that is T-shaped and is placed in the uterus through the
cervix. It is a reversible contraceptive that can be done in a doctor’s's office.
- IUI
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) Treatment for infertile women- During an intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedure, sperm is placed directly into the uterus using a small catheter. This treatment aims to improve the chances of fertilisation by increasing the number of healthy sperm that reach the fallopian tubes when the woman is most fertile.

- Ovarian cystectomy
The removal of a cyst that either has a solid appearance, more
significant than three inches in diameter, can become cancerous, or causes constant pain.
Cysts can be removed without removing an ovary. Women who do not take birth control
produce small cysts every other month but they can disappear on their own.
- Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy in gynecology (laparoscopy) is a less invasive alternative to open surgery.
The procedure involves using a laparoscope (a long, thin tube with a light connected to
a camera) to look inside the pelvic area to diagnose gynecological disorders or to
perform surgery to treat gynecological conditions. A small incision is made over the
abdomen through which the laparoscope is inserted. Two to three other small incisions
may be made to insert specialized surgical instruments. Open surgery is more invasive
and usually requires a large incision. Healing is also generally faster with laparoscopic
procedures.
- Ultrasound in pregnancy
An ultrasound is a test that uses sound waves to
look at your baby, the uterus, and the placenta. You will be your baby’s
heartbeat and pictures will be seen on the screen. An ultrasound is not an x-
ray and does not cause pain. The test takes about 10 minutes and will be
done in your doctor's clinic.

A procedure to quickly remove abnormal vaginal tissue within the cervix. A shunt is an anesthetic, and a solution to enhance the points of removal visually is administered during the process. There is a chance of experiencing watery, pinkish discharge, brownish discharge, and mild cramping.
- Dilation and curettage (D&C)
A daycare procedure to open (dilate) the cervix to collect samples of endometrial tissue with a curette. A D&C can also be done to remove a foetus that has not passed naturally after a miscarriage or to induce an abortion.
- Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a daycare gynecologic procedure in which your doctor examines the inside of your uterus to diagnose and treat abnormal bleeding. During a hysteroscope, your physician will insert the hysteroscope—a thin tube with a light on the end, into the vagina, through the cervix, and into the uterus. A hysteroscope can be used as either a diagnostic procedure or a treatment procedure.
